Hmmm. Sounds like something has associated itself with .m3u that should have. You can make Winamp re-associate itself by going into it's preferences (Right click -> Options -> Preferences *OR* CTRL+P). Then goto General Preferences -> Filetypes and you can re-associate it with .m3u files.
Monday Night RAW reunion... The idea sounds so crazy it might just work.
