I figured I would go ahead and start a growing list of things we can blame Obama for before he even takes office.
1. The decline of the economy.
2. The pending terrorist attack. I mean come on, if another one happens we have to blame him.
3. The sell off of America to pay off it’s debt.
4. The religious implications that he’s the anti-christ.
5. My inability to get motivated to work.

Yeah, I know, right? I'd hate for the government to take some arbitrary percentage of my hard-earned paycheck, and use it for insane things like schools, roads, social security, health care, etc, etc, etc...

i'll hit a few highlights to get you started
- Americans have been redistributing their wealth for hundreds of years
- redistributing wealth does not equate to socialism or communism
- Obama's proposal is to have tax laws more like the ones we had during Clinton's Presidency, a time noted for prosperity in America, it's businesses and it's people.

Right. But... Nationalizing financial institutions is 100% reflective of the tenets of socialism. No wonder McCain backed off his stance of supporting the bailout/buy-in shortly after he "suspended his campaign" to do his damndest to push it through. He didn't want to come across as a hypocrite.
After his speech last night, though, I think that he is back to his pre-2001 form, and the world will be a better place for it. Hopefully, he realized his tragic mistake in pandering to the hard right for the last seven-ish years, and the embodiment of that movement in the guise of Palin was probably what he needed to see the error of his ways. I truly believe that he was relieved that he lost the election, and that he will now be a force for centrism and logic in Washington.
I really hope that all of this post-election whining that is going on (Not directly speaking to you, Z, but to dozens of knee-jerk fascists on other boards I frequent, as well as comments on CNN and FOX that I've seen) slowly dies off, and the language of hate that has been spewing from the right diees with it.
