Pacemaker a proper live/dj-tool ?

Hi.

My computer and soundcard is taking some heavy damage due to touring. that in itself is of coarse not good but im even more worried about the risk that my computer might be unstable at a gig.

So i was thinking about using the pacemaker.

Anyone had any toughts on it. I heard all kinds of stuff, among others that it is imposible to mix properly on it..

My livesets are made up in such a way that i dj my tunes, while messing around with filters, playing keyboards and filtering the vocalists that perform our tunes live.

So i need something that i can mix on but it dosent have to be a superb mixing equipment since i have so much more going on at the same time.
